WEDNESDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP: Please plan to join us on Wednesday, February 3, beginning at 5:45 pm for our Fellowship Meal of oven fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, green beans, salad and dessert and at 6:35 for a program on Safe Sanctuary.
PASTOR ON VACATION: Dr. Calhoun will be away on vacation February 1–February 9, returning on Wednesday, February 10. Rick Schilling will be preaching on February 7.

SAFE SANCTUARY: Training classes will be held on February 3rd and February 10th. Anyone who is currently working with children/youth or anyone anticipating working with children/youth is required to attend both sessions.
HAITI: If you wish to make a donation to Haitian Relief, please make your check payable to Fair View UMC and put on the memo line: HAITIAN RELIEF. We will forward all money to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). We have teams on the ground in Haiti already in place to help with relief efforts. Know that 100% of your donation goes for food, shelter, first aid supplies, water and other direct assistance to the people of Haiti.
MOORESVILLE SOUP KITCHEN/ Souper Bowl of Caring: Through this mission, young people learn what it’s like to make a positive difference in the world. On Super Bowl Sunday and on February 14th, every dollar donated goes to the Mooresville Soup Kitchen.

NEEDED: Volunteers to make lunch for our Youth on Sundays and also volunteers to be Sunday School teachers for our children’s department beginning March 7. Please contact Emily McLain.
MOUNT MOURNE CHURCH OF GOD FOOD PANTRY: The next date for the pantry is Tuesday, February 23, from 10:00 –12:00. Items requested are pasta, noodles, spaghetti sauce, rice, canned juice, canned meat, biscuit/muffin mix, crackers, canned fruit, macaroni and cheese, cereal and peanut butter. Please place items in the bin in the vestibule.
SCOUT TROOP 173 BBQ: Enjoy this delicacy at its best on Saturday, February 6th, from noon until 2:00 pm at Centre Presbyterian Church. The “Q” is sold by preorders only.
