Pastor Brian will be out of town next Sunday, but we are thrilled to have Rev. Dr. Susan Harrison preaching at both services. We thank God for Dr. Susan's willingness to share her considerable gifts with us so freely. Pastor Brian will return to the pulpit on October 21.

A REMINDER FROM THE MUSIC DESK

All who would like to sing in the Christmas Cantata, or choir in general, are welcome to come join us on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. Handbell  rehearsals for the Christmas season are on Thursdays, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Please let Joel know if you, or someone you know, might be interested. 

FALL FESTIVAL, OCTOBER 20

This annual event welcomes the community to our facility  and is an opportunity to extend the love of Christ. We need candy donations and  volunteers for trunk or treat and to help run games. 12:00 - 4:00 p.m., games and food,  4:00 -5:00 p.m., trunk or treat. BIBLE STUDY NEEDING MORE JESUS, NEEDING JESUS MORE

This class led by Susan will help us keep our eyes on our “first love” on Tuesdays from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m., October 23, 30, November 6, 20, 27, and December 4 in Wesley. Bring a Bible and notebook. MAC AND CHEESE COOK-OFF

We will be having a cook-off during the Fall Festival on October 20. Awards will be given to both children and adults. Voting will take place during the Festival. Winners will be announced during church on October 20. Check the bulletin for more details.

Fair View Kidz are putting a cookbook together. Please send your favorite recipes in all categories to fairviewkidz@yahoo.com or hand them to Danyel Williams or Krystal Davis on any Sunday prior to October 14.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a part-time contemporary music leader for our 9:00 a.m. Rise Service. The candidate needs to be strong with vocals and guitar, or vocals and keyboard. The person in this position should be willing to lead a volunteer praise band with rehearsals and encourage new people to join. We are seeking a dedicated Christian who can be a team player, working cooperatively with pastors, staff, and volunteers. We are offering a competitive salary for an experienced leader.
