Children
Welcome to Fair View United Methodist Children’s Ministry. At Fair View we provide a biblical, loving and safe environment for your children ages three through 5th grade.
There are several exciting ministries available for your children. At the beginning of each Sunday service, children are invited to Children’s Time at the front of the sanctuary. A unique sermon is geared towards the kids but enjoyed by all. Following children’s time, Children (ages 4 through 1st grade) are invited to Children’s Church.
We encourage children 2nd grade and up to participate in our regular services. Fair View UMC provides Worship Readiness to usher your children into a better understanding of United Methodist services.
At 10:00 each Sunday there are exciting classes provided for children ages three through 5th grade. Note: Nursery is open for younger children 8:30 am-12: pm.
On Wed. evenings Fair View has a fellowship dinner at 5:45 pm. “WOW Singers” is our children’s choir which starts at 6:30 pm, followed by Wed. classes for children ages 4 through 5th grade. Nursery is again open for the younger children.
Kingdom Kids is a new adventure for our 2nd through 5th graders. Once a month we will get together for a fun bonding activity.
During the summers look for FUN Fridays. We will embark on different field trips for all ages within Children’s Ministry.
Vacation Bible School is a 5 day program that runs in the summer where we have an average of 100 kids plus chaperones learning about God, singing, dancing and of course eating!
Fair View also provides community wide activities in spring and fall.

Nursery
We at Fair View United Methodist Church believe that each child is a gift from God. It is our goal to provide a loving and safe environment for our family members ages newborn through 3 years old.
On Sundays our nursery is opened from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm. We have wonderful nursery rooms for your blessings! Room 300 is available for infants: newborn through 24 months.
302 is offered for toddlers, ages 24 months through 36 months.
The nursery rooms are also open on Wed evenings and for various church activities. Look at the church bulletin and/or news letter for updates.
Our nursery rooms have qualified staff members joined by our loving volunteers. Fair View UMC is a Safe Sanctuary Church. Anyone who works with our children must complete Safe Sanctuary training. Anyone 18 years old plus, are required to pass a criminal background check.
When dropping off your child, a nursery worker will provide you with a pager. Each parent or guardian is responsible for signing your child in and out of the nursery. Please label all diaper bags, clothing and personal items.
Note: we are a Peanut Free Environment. Please be conscious of those who may have severe allergies. Also please let the nursery staff know of any or all allergies your child may have.
If your child has had a fever or has any signs of a contagious illness within the last 24 hours, please do not bring them to the nursery. This will ensure the health of all our children and staff members.
