Small Groups

Every believer is on a lifelong journey of spiritual growth. Because we believe that we never stop developing our discipleship, Fair View offers a variety of small groups for adults. Adult Sunday School, United Methodist Women, and United Methodist Men are our core groups.

Beyond these core groups, we offer additional small groups on both a short-term and long-term basis. These include: Bible studies, Book Club, MOPS, Emmaus Reunion Groups, Members Applying Gifts Intentionally (MAGI) workshops, a Quilting and Prayer Shawl Ministry and many more opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship and outreach.  We are always open to suggestions for additional studies.

Please contact the church office for more information about or to register for a study.
You do not have to be a member to join a study.  We welcome everyone.  Child care is available for most all classes if requested.

Fair View loves to fellowship and we have many opportunities to spend time with each other out side of small groups. A few of our fellowship opportunities are: Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner and Talent Show, Easter Breakfast, Potluck Dinners, and Family Nights.

Congregational Care Team

As we reach out to our community, we also look inward to the welfare of our congregation. We have teams who care for our congregation in the following ways.
The Card Ministry. sends cards out at birthdays or losses of family members, and general "care cards" when a member is going through a hard time.
Our Meal Team prepares a dish or a meal for those who are just home from the hospital or ill.
We have a team that will take people to doctor appointments and otherwise provide transportation as our congregation may need.
Another ministry takes communion to our shut ins and members in nursing home members.
