Rev. Patrick Hamrick, Fair View's senior pastor, received his undergraduate and Master of Divinity degrees from Duke University. Patrick has been in full-time ministry for 16 years, and finds joy in church leadership development. Patrick came to Fair View in 2006 from Asbury UMC, Greensboro. Rev. Laura Hamrick, Fair View's associate pastor, received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina and the Master of Divinity degree from Wesley Theological Seminary. Laura is specially trained in evangelism and mission. Laura came to Fair View in 2006 from Centenary UMC, Winston-Salem. Patrick is originally from Kings Mountain, and Laura is originally from Charlotte. They met at Lake Junaluska, were married in 2004, and have a two-year old son. |
| Music Director: Virgie Taylor has an extensive background in contemporary Christian music. Virgie has created and arranged music for both adult and children worship services in numerous churches. She is an accomplished singer, pianist, keyboardist and is a guest soloist throughout the region. Virgie's music is her gift to the Lord. |  |

Emily McLain, our Director of Children’s Ministries and Junior Youth Coordinator Emily grew up in North Wilkesboro, NC and married her high school sweetheart, Scott, in 1991. They have four children and moved around the country for 13 years, settling in Mooresville three years ago. Prior to moving back to NC, Emily served in various roles in the lives of children including: Nursery Director; a substitute teacher; a Lead Pre-K instructor; a teacher’s assistant in a Kindergarten program; and she also served as an assistant director and as a director of an elementary school childcare program. Emily is excited and honored to be working with the children at Fair View. |
